About the Program
The Spring Hill Hawks Tackle Football program is a league available for children ages 5- 12 supporting sportsmanship, the building of friendships, and the development of fundamental football skills for the youth of our community. Tackle Football is offered in the Fall with practices beginning mid-Summer.
- Game schedules are determined by TNYFL which are announced at a later date. If posted, it will be listed below in the League Schedule.
- Games are held on Saturday at different locations within the metro Nashville area.
- Practices are Monday, Tues, Thurs, and Fri from 6pm-8pm during the Summer.
- Once school begins practices are held Monday, Tuesday & Thursday from 6pm-8pm.
- All practices are held at Fischer Park
- Conditioning Training is held on Sundays beginning April 21st from 4-pm. This is an optional program and not required but please register for the program in PlayMetrics if you plan to attend. It a FREE training program.
- You have the opportunity to receive schedule notifications and communications through the PlayMetrics app. Please download the app and create your free account!
Age Divisions
Fall Season:
For the Fall Season, players are aligned in Divisions according to their age as of July 31st of the year in which the season is played.
- 6U: Ages 5 -6 based on their age as of July 31st.
- 8U: Ages 7-8 based on their age as of July 31st.
- 10U: Ages 9-10 based on their age as of July 31st.
- 12U: Ages 11-12 based on their age as of July 31st.
What's Included
The registration fee for each season includes a game jersey, padded pants, and socks! These are yours to keep at the end of each season. We also provide the shoulder pads and helmet which are returned at the end of the season.
*If equipment is not returned you will be charged for the cost of the equipment up to $500
Registration Fee:
- 6U $150
- 8U $200
- 10U & 12U $250
There are a few items you will need to purchase or reuse each season for your player:
- Football cleats
- Mouth guard
- Water bottle
- Pants with pads for practice
- Practice jerseys

Weather
We all know Middle TN weather can change quickly! We will communicate cancellations for weather or field condition at least 1 hour prior to practice / game times. Please note that we typically do not cancel for light rain, but a heavy rain or lightening will result in cancellations. We of course want the game to continue when it can and will make every effort to play, but our main priority is always the safety of the children & their families.
Volunteering / Coaching

We provide you coaching drills, assistance through the season, a coaching bag with everything you'll need for practices and game days PLUS you get to pick your practice time!
Coaching is a fun and rewarding experience! It's an 8-10 hour commitment during the week and 2-3 hours on Sat during game day!
All coaches must complete a background check.
Concessions
We offer a wide range of food and drink items for purchase at our concession building (near the playground). From cheeseburgers, hot dogs, soft pretzels, candy, ice cream, and chips to soft drinks, gatorade, coffee, water, and even energy drinks!
We are always looking for volunteers in concessions as well. High School students will receive volunteer credit hours.

Tennessee Youth Football League
The TNYFL has been formed from a collection of communities that desire to help develop young athletes into junior high and high school athletes with a focus on discipline, technique and proper sportsmanship.
Because of our commitment to providing the safest and most responsible environment for teaching and developing these young athletes, we formed this new 501c6 non-profit organization for ages 5-12. Each of our communities work with our local high school coaches to provide the latest in proper technique and safety so that our parents can be confident that their child is in a responsible environment for learning the values and rewards of youth football. In our first three years, we have already become the largest league in middle Tennessee with continued growth in Davidson, Maury, Rutherford, Sumner, Williamson, and Wilson Counties that project us to exceed 2000 athletes.
We hope you share our excitement for this new league and the energy that it has created toward football in Middle Tennessee.
